The object - image of the state institutions of Ukraine in his total political-institutional and informational dimensions. The goal – to clarify the theoretical and applied principles of the of positive image formation of the state institutions of Ukraine on the example of SBGS and detection of its image strategies. Novelty - comprehensively studied the problem of defining strategies for creating a positive image of the state institutions in Ukraine; studied the image of SBGS as a specific state institution responsible for ensuring national security, found the main means of image formation; improved concepts and categories of the modern image science; had the idea of further development of image management tools. Practical application - for further studies of political image of the state institutions; application development - to improve the Concept of SBGS development and image strategic planning support of the state institutions; in the activities of government agencies, political and social institutions. Sphere of use - activity of the state agencies and educational institutions.
