Akritidоu C. Pharmacognostic research of Lupinus polyphyllus

The thesis is devoted to the complex pharmacognostic study of biologically active substances from the multivalent lupine (Lupinus polyphyllus Lindl.) herb, semen and roots. In herbal drugs the presence of compounds of different chemical structure was established: hydrocarbons, amino acids, organic and hydroxycinnamic acids, coumarins, flavonoids, isoflavones, tannins and alkaloids. The content of macro- and microelements, volatile components, amino acids, organic and fatty acids, alkaloids, isoflavones and tannins was defined. Using the method of high performance liquid chromatography in roots of lupine was found 10 substances. For the first times from the roots of lupine in the individual state was isolated and determined structure of 6 compounds: ferulic and chlorogenic acid; coumarin; apigenin, apigenin-7-О-D-glucoside and genistein. Dry extract of lupine roots has an actoprotective and anabolic effect, dry extract of seeds ? antimicrobial effect. The projects of quality control procedures for roots of lupine and dry extract of roots of multivalent lupine were proposed.
