Essay

Based on a review of scholarly literature on history and theory of legal profession, issues of fundamental values inherent to state and individual, the dissertation explores common patterns and specific features of the formation mechanism of moral foundations of the institute of advocacy. It lists a number of provisions concerning categorical and methodological principles in the study of moral principles of the professional activity of advocates, attempts to formulate some general conformities as to establishment, embodiment and development of values in the practice of law, provides basic directions of further research of activities of lawyers.
