Deyna L. Subjective and Objective Evaluation in the Ukrainian Diary Discourse

This research focuses on the complex lexical-semantic, grammatical-stylistic, functional-communicative analysis of subjective and objective evaluation in the Ukrainian writers' diaries of the second half of the twentieth century. The analysis of the material showed that the main intensifiers of the evaluation in diary discourse are the particles (amplifier, exclamation-intensifying, demonstrative, exclamatory), prefixes and suffixes (diminutives, augmentative, amplification, the degree of manifestation of symptoms), quantitative and identification adverbs (maximizers, amplifiers, average indicators, diminutives, minimizators).
