Vdovenko S. Resource saving measures complex development for hydrocarbons rational use at refineries

The thesis is devoted to development of scientific bases and technological aspects of individual resource saving measures for hydrocarbons rational use so as to reduce hydrocarbon losses during crude oil and oil products storage and processing at refineries. The paper is described the refineries efficiency evaluation results complex and hydrocarbon losses monitoring at Ukrainian refineries and losses distribution established by category. The hydrocarbon losses reduction methods out of oil tanks were developed. The project of closed type industrial waste water treatment plant was developed and allows oil product efficient capture and significantly reduces hydrocarbon losses. Process measures are proposed to improve the pipe heater operation for crude oil heating. There were explored the oily sludge structure and properties with different storage life which were formed during oil processing at refineries. The basic regularities of oil sludge organic part thermal degradation were described. There was established possibility in principle to use the oily sludge organic part as a raw material for the oil bitumen production. There was developed the oily sludge recovery complex diagram and fulfilled comparison of the known oil sludge processing technology with the functional cost analysis use.
