Essay

The object of research: personality of women with gynecological pathology. The purpose of the work: based on deepening the theoretical concepts about psychological characteristics of women with gynecological pathology to develop a program of psychological correction of dysfunctional psychological characteristics of women with gynecological pathology. Methods: theoretical (analysis, classification, generalization), interviews, psychodiagnostic, the method of expert evaluations, mathematical-statistical. Scientific novelty: the work is devoted to research of psychological peculiarities of women with uterine fibroids and endometriosis, the study involved 54 patients with uterine cancer and 49 patients with endometriosis; found those women with gynecological pathology characteristic of weak differentiation of emotions, reduced reflection and a lack of creative attitude to life. It is shown that the level of constructive aggression as adaptive component is reduced, and destructive and deficit, by contrast, is high; features of the personal sphere of women with uterine myoma and endometriosis; women with uterine myoma different self-doubt, dismissive attitude, women with endometriosis are different ambitions and fantasies of power; determined that women with gynecological pathology characteristic of excessive stress psychological defense mechanisms that do not perform a protective effect, but rather to launch destabilizing processes. Practical value: defined target correction, correction program developed dysfunctional psychological characteristics, the estimation of its effectiveness. The effect of the introduction is high. The areas of use: higher education institutions, medical institutions, psychological services.
