Vlasenko V. Vacuum Therapy in Complex Surgical Treatment of Diabetic Foot Syndrome.

Based on the examination and treatment of 239 patients with complicated forms of DFS the thesis contains theoretical generalization and new solution of scientific task for improving the results of complex surgical treatment of DFS by studying the action of vacuum therapy for clinical, cytological, microbiological, microcirculatory and morphological parameters of a course of acute and chronic wounds and indicators of immunological reactivity and endogenous intoxication. Based on the data received schemes of differentiated use of vacuum therapy of wounds in patients with various pathogenetic DFS forms and acute and chronic wounds have been optimized. The efficiency of the vacuum fixation of skin autodermotransplants has been proved. The original silicone chambers for vacuum therapy have been offered.
