The dissertation is dedicated to improving methods of intra-operative identification of external branches of superior laryngeal nerve (EBSLN) in patients with disorders of the thyroid gland (TG), methods of detection of its damage and the development of therapeutic measures in post-surgery period of dysphonic syndrome. The result of this study was to determine the characteristic changes in terms of spectral analysis and voice fiberoptic laryngoscopy (FLS). There has been developed and implemented the algorithms for diagnosis and treatment of dysphonia syndrome related to intra-operative as well as combined injury of EBSLN and also inferiior laryngeal nerve.
