The paper presents a theoretical definition of intentional destruction or impairment of territories protected by the State and objects of nature preserves and carried out a legal analysis of a crime under Art. 252 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Components of art. 252 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine are analyzed, criminal legal description of its objective and subjective signs are provided. The content of aggravating circumstances of the crime is identified. The paper contains recommendations for improving standards of national legislation on liability for intentional destruction or impairment of territories protected by the State and objects of natural reserve fund.
