Shchegliuk M. The priorities of the central bank development in terms of financial integration

This research focuses on the improvement of scientific and methodological approaches to the definition of concepts and functions of the central bank in terms of financial integration, monetary policy implementation and evaluation of its impact on economic growth in Ukraine. The scientific approaches to the classification of the functions of the central bank based on historic analysis of the role of central banks are summarized. The priority areas of central banks operation in terms of financial integration are systematized and the functions and activity of NBU in accordance with these directions are analyzed. The model of dependence on the stability of the currency of NBU monetary policy is developed and the approach to determining the index of stability of the national currency in terms of financial integration is determined.
