Zarichanska О. The pharmacognostic investigation of the plants of Hemerocallis L. genus.

The object - complete pharmacognostic investigation of plant raw materials of two species of the Hemerocallis L. genus and pharmacological activity of plant originated substances obtained at the base of flowers and modified roots of such species; the purpose - performance of the comprehensive pharmacognostic investigation of flowers, leaves and modified roots of the representatives of plants of the Hemerocallis L. genus - tawny daylily and hybrid daylily of "Stella De Oro" variant, obtaining of phytosubstances of their origin and study of such substances' safety and pharmacological activity; methods - physical, physico-chemical, chemical, resources studies, morphological and anatomical, technological, pharmacological, statistical; results - qualitative composition of the biologically active substances of flowers, leaves and modified roots of tawny daylily and hybrid daylily of "Stella De Oro" variant have been analyzed and their qualitative content have been determined; macro and micro diagnostic features of the investigated plant raw materials have been determined; the optimal technology of the obtaining of thick extracts from flowers of both daylilies' species and dry extract from tawny daylily's modified roots have been developed; safety of the obtained extracts has been elucidated after the acute toxicity investigation; the stimulatory activity of thick extract of tawny daylily, sedative, antidepressant and anticonvulsant properties of hybrid daylily's of "Stella De Oro" variant flowers' thick extract, hypoglycaemic activity of dry extract from tawny daylily's modified roots have been determined; introduced - into scientifically research work and educational processes of the departments of pharmaceutical direction of higher educational institutions of Ukraine and practice of the territory department of the State Administration on medicinal products and control after narcotics in Ternopyl region; direction - pharmacy.
