Essay

Object - process of atmosphere sounding with acoustic and electromagnetic waves. Aim - improvement of trace signal processing methods of atmosphere radio acoustic sounding systems (RASS), which take into account transformations of radio signal that happen when signal propagates in the locational radio acoustic channel. Subject - trace scattered signal processing methods of radio acoustic atmosphere sounding systems. Methods - synthesis and analysis of radio systems, theory of wave propagation in turbulent atmosphere, computational methods of analysis, computer modelling and physical experiment. Results - first developed trace scattered signal processing methods of atmosphere RASS systems; first performed analysis and choice of models of optimal linear filtering in atmosphere RASS systems; improved method of assessing of the potential accuracy of atmospheric parameters measurements obtained using the developed trace method; first determined the potential accuracy of atmospheric parameters measurements with RASS systems using trace signal processing method and simple sounding signals with rectangular and Gaussian envelope. Implementation - in scientific research work and in academic activity at NURE. Application - development of radio acoustic systems
