Prusenko G. Provisional Measures in International Commercial Arbitration

The thesis is an independent scientific study of theoretical and practical issues of granting of provisional measures in international commercial arbitration. The thesis is dedicated to researching of the legal problems arising from the need to issue provisional measures in international commercial arbitration. The application of provisional measures by arbitrators and court, the problem of enforcement of provisional awards are studied. The author examines particular issues of power of arbitrators, arbitration institutions and national courts to order provisional measures during the arbitral proceedings and in aid of arbitration. The definition for the concept of provisional measures in international commercial arbitration is proposed.
