Polunina O. Retail sale and purchase agreement under the civil legislation of Ukraine.

The thesis is devoted to the research of genesis of legal nature of retail sale and purchase agreement, revealing the topical problems of its legal regulation in the civil legislation in Ukraine. The history of development and legal regulation of retail sale and purchase agreement in the countries of Romano-germanic legal family and in Ukraine were elucidated. The definition of retail sale and purchase agreement was provided and its characteristic features were distinguished. Classification of types of retail sale and purchase agreement according to various criteria was carried out. Peculiarities of conclusion, performance and termination of retail sale and purchase agreement and consequences of its violation were researched. On the basis of analysis of non-native material and scientific works specific proposals on improvement of domestic civil legislation in the field of regulation of conclusion, performance and termination of retail sale and purchase agreement, the liability for its violation in order to enhance the consumer protection and practical implementation of the norms of European Union law into Civil Law of Ukraine, were elaborated.
