Essay

The origin, characteristics of grammar and semantics of personal and possessive pronouns were studied in written monuments of XVI–XVII centuries. Their paradigmatic and syntagmatic relations were found. The entire system of pronouns of XIV–XV and XVI–XVII centuries was analyzed. Saving many forms of pronouns in modern Ukrainian literary language and dialects was proved.
