Essay

Object of study - severe psoriasis (psoriatic erythroderma, pustular, exudative and arthropathic psoriasis). The aim of study - to improve the treatment efficiency of patients with severe psoriasis by developing a complex method of treatment by studying regulation of inflammation indicators. Methods: clinical, biochemical, immunological, instrumental, statistics. The thesis deals with complex study of indicators of inflammation regulation in severe forms of psoriasis, development of treatment method involving medications, aimed at reduction of inflammation processes, degenerative changes in the joints, bone resorption and improving microcirculation. The role of violations of inflammation regulation indicators in the pathogenesis of psoriasis is determined. The participation of epidermal growth factor not only in the hyperproliferation of keratinocytes but in bone resorption has been defined. The dependence of the laboratory parameters change degree on the severity degree of dermatosis and inflammatory activity is shown. The complex method of treatment of patients with severe forms of psoriasis has been elaborated and its efficiency has been proved. Results of the study are introduced into the practical work of the State Establishment "Institute of Dermatology and Venereology of NAMS of Ukraine", Kyiv Municipal Clinical dermato-venerological hospital, Municipal Institution of healthcare "Regional Clinical Dermato-Venerological Dispensary number 1" (Kharkiv), Municipal Institution "Zaporizhzhya Regional Dermato-venerological Clinical Dispensary" of Zaporizhzhya Regional Council, Poltava Regional Clinical Dermato-venerological Dispensary, Kremenchuk Regional Dermato-venerological Dispensary.
