Pospielova I. Constitutional and legal regulation of election campaigning

This dissertation investigates theoretical and practical issues of constitutional and legal campaigning regulation as an election process stage, which provides decisive influence on the election results in general. Based on comprehensive and systematic analysis of the doctrinal sources in constitutional law and electoral law, current legislation of Ukraine, international standards in the field of legal regulation of elections and the electoral process, constitutional and legal regulation of election campaigning as a complex phenomenon was researched. It reflects the evolution of the electoral legislation in the part of the election campaign. The activity of the judicial authorities in case of electoral rights violation of electoral process subjects were investigated. Experience of foreign countries was considered in the field of constitutional and legal regulation of campaigning, forms and methods of its conduct, rights and duties of election campaign subjects. Directions of the constitutional and legal regulation of election campaigning improvement were described.
