The thesis is devoted to complex research issues of criminal legal characteristics of intentional destruction or damage of housing and communal services. The analysis of the social conditioning of the criminalization of intentional destruction or damage of housing and communal services, is considered foreign experience of criminal law to counter attacks on housing facilities. Thorough analysis is done of the criminal law of objective and subjective features of the main elements of a crime under art. 270-1 of the Criminal Code (CC) of Ukraine. The content of qualifying and particularly qualifying signs, which are used for the differentiation of criminal responsibility for the intentional destruction or damage of housing and communal services. According to the results of the research proposals about the improvement of the Criminal Code and the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences.
