Berestova A. Religious precedentity in the language of the Ukrainian prose in the late 20th - early 21st century

Object -religious precedentity as a component of the precedentity concept; objective: to define and describe typological characteristics, semantics and functional load of the precedent religious phenomena in the language of contemporary Ukrainian fiction; methods: descriptive method, method of component analysis, method of semantic and stylistic analysis, method of contextual analysis, method of linguistic and cultural interpretation, linguistic and pragmatic method; novelty: at first in Ukrainian linguistics typological and semantic and functional characteristics of precedent religious phenomena represented in the texts of modern Ukrainian fiction were made, and the mechanisms of actualization of precedent religious units as cultural memory compilers in prose text were set; the classification material of precedent religious phenomena used in literary text was put into scientific circulation; results: factual material, substantive provisions and conclusions of the thesis can be used in lexicographical practice and in education while teaching such courses as "Lexicology", "Stylistics", "Linguistic Culture Studies", "Cognitive Linguistics", "Text Linguistics", the dissertation material can be used for the further study of language of the writers whose works were brought for analysis, theory of intertextuality and theory of precedentity from the position of their functionality and methods of implementation.
