Sladkovska T. Seed Yield of Permanent Grasses Depending on the Elements of Technology Growing under the Conditions of Ukrainian Polissya.

Object of research: the processes of growth, development and seed production formation of orchard grass and of English bluegrass depending on the growing technology. Aim of research: to find the ways for seed yield and quality increase of orchard grass and English bluegrass on the basis of complex evaluation and improvement of growing technology elements under the conditions of Ukrainian Polissya. Methods of research: field method, visual method, calculation-weight method, morphophysiological metod, laboratory method, calculation-comparative method, mathematical-statistical method. Recommendations in respect of the optimum sowing time, fertilizing, cover crop for 0,58-0,66 tons per hectare of orchard grass seeds and 0,54-0,63 tons per hectare of English bluegrass seeds have been obtained on the basis of theoretical and experimental research under the conditions of Polissya. The research results were being implemented during 2013-2015 at the agricultural enterprises of Zhytomyr region on the total area of 213,5 hectares. The area of application is agricultural production.
