Essay

The thesis is devoted to the complex and comprehensive investigation of the medical legislation of Ukraine during the Soviet period. The attention is focused on the aspects of condition of the medical legislation in Ukraine in the conditions of the formation of the Soviet power in the USSR. The author has analyzed the organizational principles of management of medicine, legal status of health workers, legislative regulation of providing medical care to the population, treatments of infectious, social and venereal diseases and medical insurance during the studied period. The analysis of the main acts is carried out which regulated the medical activity in the country: "Rules that regulate the professional work of the medical staff" of April 17, 1924, the Code of laws about health protection of the USSR of 1925, 1929, 1930 and the Law of the USSR "About health protection" of July 15, 1971.
