Essay

The dissertation scientifically substantiates the conceptual approach and principles of developing an ecologically balanced model of the development of rural areas and the mechanism of applying it under irrigated conditions in the Southern region of Ukraine. The paper proposes an improved conceptual and categorical apparatus of the theory of economics of nature management and the development of rural areas. It represents a theoretical and methodical approach to developing the model of ecologically balanced development of rural areas based on the indicator approach. The dissertation analyzes social, ecological and economic development of the agrarian sector of economy and the rural areas of Kherson rural region and determines the level of ecological equilibrium of the economic development of Kherson rural region. It analyzes the modern ecological and economic condition of the agrarian enterprises in the irrigated zone. The research proposes the system of strategies of maintaining ecological balance of the economic development of agrarian enterprises based on SWOT-analysis. It represents and scientifically substantiates the model of ecologically balanced development of rural areas in the irrigated zone. The study describes an improved organizational and economic mechanism of applying the ecologically balanced model of the economic development of rural areas and represents the system of key factors and methods of solving conflicts of interest between nature users of rural areas which can arise in the process of applying the model.
