Adamets N. Word-building paradigmatics of verbs of motion in modern Ukrainian

This research focuses on the word-formation ability of verbs of motion within word-building paradigms (275 lexical-semantic variants) and its realization in language by derevatives. In the dissertation the classification of verbs of semantic field "movement" has been made, the quantity of constituents and the criteria of their delimitation have been found. Aktants and syrkonstants matrix of verbs of motion have been established, valence opportunities of analyzed verbs have been defined. 55 word-building meanings realized by derivatives on the first stage of derivation have been fixed and described. Tools and methods of creating derivatives have been outlined. Determinants of derivational potential of formative words have been found. Morphonological changes that arise at the morphemic seam have been outlined.
