Volotkovska Y. Economic evaluation of coal spoil banks as man-made deposits

The thesis is devoted to theoretical generalization and substantiation of methodical bases and practical guidelines for economic evaluation of coal spoil banks as man-made deposits. The scientific and methodical approach to cost valuation of environmental and social consequences of utilization of coal spoil banks is substantiated. The scientific and methodical approach to economic estimation of coal spoil banks as man-made deposits is suggested taking into account these consequences. The approach to the calculating investors' income from the sale of goods produced from the spoil bank is reconsidered. The scientific and methodical approach to forming the financial provision for meeting social and environmental needs of the community in the area of the spoil bank location in the case of investment unattractiveness of utilization of coal spoil bank is improved. The tools of mining project profitability evaluation for mineral extraction from a spoil bank are further developed, as well as the conceptual bases of pricing on a commodity product made from a coal spoil bank.
