Onufriichuk H. Linguistic and Сultural Potential of Ukrainian Ethnic Phraseology: Associative Field «A MAN IN THE SURROUNDING OF OTHER CREATURES»

Object: figurative frazems that reflect the animistic worldview of the people, symbolic of their thinking and speaking. Objective: track trends of idioms to describe the associative field "A MAN IN THE SURROUNDING OF OTHER CREATURES" based on the Ukrainian etnofrazeologic, also determine features of internal shape of etnofrazeological forms and their role in forming the language picture of the world. Methods: the descriptive; the comparative historical; the component analysis; the conceptual analysis; the quantitative analysis; the lexicographical description; the associative field. Scientific novelty: for the first time a comprehensive analysis of Ukrainian figurative phraseology to describe frazeologic field "The Man in the circle of other beings"; collected and described by linguistic means of expression of positive and negative qualities of man; held parallel associative to describe the main features of human nature and animals. Practical value: the possibility of using in the lexicographic practice during compiling fraseological, etymological, ethnic-linguistic, ethnographic dictionaries, as well as in the preparation of relevant textbooks and manuals.
