Essay

At first identified clinico-pathogenetic features of new onset atrial fibrillation in 139 patients with arterial hypertension and heart failure, depending on the paroxysm type and insulinemia. It was established relationships between coagulation and platelet hemostasis parameters under insulin resistance. Progressing of violations in the hemostatic system under insulin resistance is associated with increased chance of developing cardiovascular events and determined the proportion of the cumulative reductions in survival of patients with atrial fibrillation and metabolic disorders.
