Object - medical college students' learning and cognitive activity; aim - to find out the influence of theoretically substantiated and experimentally tested pedagogical support technology providing for self-organization of learning and cognitive activity of medical college students on the quality of training of future medical specialists; methods - theoretical, empirical, statistical; novelty - the research is the first to provide the theoretical substantiation and experimental testing of the personality-oriented pedagogical support technology providing for self-organization of learning and cognitive activity of medical college students: the term "self-organization of learning and cognitive activity" of students and the content of structural components of student's self-organization of learning and cognitive activity are specified; the forms and methods stimulating students to self-organization of their learning and cognitive activity as well as the forms and methods allowing for self- organization skills mastery have acquired further study ; results - the pedagogical support technology providing for self-organization of learning and cognitive activity of medical college students has been experimentally tested and is recommended for the implementation in the medical college teaching process. Theoretical ideas and practical recommendations of the research will be helpful to the teaching staff engaged in class and out of class activities with medical college students, for working out teaching programmes and teaching manuals, to students for self-organization of their learning and cognitive activity. The materials of the research are recommended for consideration in the system of medical staff professional development; field - pedagogy.
