Essay

Objective: determination of special features in literary works and Ukrainian historical stories in the first half of the XXth century. It is the first systematic investigation of historical stories in Ukrainian literature of the first half the XXth century. For analysis were chosen stories that used to be out of sight or were of little interest to literary critics in continental Ukraine, including works of writers-emigrants, repressed writers as well as forgotten and reticent authors from the West. Methods: specifically historical, comparatively-typological, biographical, gernmenevtic. Field of application - higher school.
