The object of the study is the process of predicting the temperature of the circulating water at nuclear power plants. The purpose of the study is to improve the accuracy of the forecasting of the circulating water temperature by improving methods for predicting and measuring hydrothermal parameters to increase the production of electricity from nuclear power plants under seasonal power restrictions. Scientific novelty: for the first time the method of forming a multistage sample of hydrometeorological information based on weighting factors and calculating their rating for obtaining the regression equation is scientifically justified; it describes the change in water temperature at the control point of hydraulic structures optimally under given initial conditions; For the first time, a method was developed for detecting implicit "emissions" of data, taking into account the parameters of the wind impact and the previous state of hydraulic structures, which allowed to reduce the forecast error; The method of forecasting the temperature of circulating water in open hydraulic structures is improved, based on statistical data, provides the declared accuracy of the forecast for a complex of hydraulic structures of any configuration and complexity.
