The dissertation is a systemic integral monographic research of the mechanism of civil procedure regulation as a social and legal phenomenon and a dynamic legal act. The dissertation also studies the internal structure and sequential stages of its functioning. It reveals the notion, specifics, efficiency criteria, constitutive elements of the internal system and stages of the mechanism of civil procedure regulation. It reveals doctrinal approaches to the understanding and contents of civil procedure regulation, distinguishes milestone events in the evolution and formation of general theory and branch-specific ideas about the notion, structure and specifics of functioning of the mechanism of civil procedure regulation, the work also analyzes the modern condition of scientific investigation of the issue. The dissertation outlines the methodology of studying the mechanism of civil procedure regulation, develops theoretical approaches to characterization of the mechanism of civil procedure regulation, gives a definition of the mechanism of civil procedure regulation, describes the structure and its separate elements. It reveals the specifics of functioning of the mechanism of civil procedure regulation and develops directions of improving the quality and efficiency of the existing MCPR alongside with the author's suggestions on the improvement of provisions of civil procedure legislation.
