The developed technique of GIS modeling of near-motorways geosystems pollution with the heavy metals compounds (HM) is based on the assessment of actual level of contamination. The general algorithm for the assessment of near motorways geosystems actual level of contamination with HM is proposed. The general algorithmic scheme for GIS modeling and the stages of complex spatial GIS analysis of model objects for the identification and assessment characteristics of the field of contamination around the motorways with the HM compounds are elaborated. The proposed classification of geosystems near the motorways considers the conditions determining the actual level of contamination with the HM compounds and geosystems stability to them. New approaches to the assessment of the total HM amount entering geosystems around the motorways from major sources of emission are proposed. The technique of GIS modeling of the assessment of total amount of the HM compounds polluting the near motorways geosystems as well as total amount of the HM compounds removing from the soils of these geosystems according with the principal migration, and/or removed out of the substantial flows are proposed. The technique developed was implemented by example of the assessment of actual level of contamination with the lead compounds of agricultural geosystems within two testing areas. The re-sults obtained could be used in justification, planning and implementation of actions for rational land management and for maintenance of near motorways geosystems in a stable state.
