Levtun I. Biotechnology for Microalgae Chlorella vulgaris cultivation with high lipid contents

Dissertation is devoted to scientific and technological bases of microalgae cultivation biotechnology with high lipids content for further biodiesel production. Substantiated and established technological cultivation parameters, which provide a rational ratio of biomass and lipid fraction yields in Chlorella vulgaris culture, under influence of ultrasonic treatment, intensity and combination of light wavelengths, changes in nitrogen source in cultural medium. Experimentally determined rational parameters for technological process of Chlorella vulgaris microalgae cultivation process under the influence of physical and chemical methods combination to direct cell metabolism to produce saturated fatty acids. Developed technological and instrumental scheme of microalgae cultivation with a high lipids content with following biodiesel production.
