Essay

The thesis solves the scientific problem of a lack of explication of ANT basic concepts and determines its heuristic potential for the practical application in sociological research. The sociological specificity of the actor-network theory and its heuristic capabilities are analyzed both by theoretically identifying the sociological component of the intellectual project of Bruno Latour, the basic ANT concepts, principles and analytical schemes and by practically applying these instruments to study the media coverage of the Donbas war.
