Iegorov M. Criteria for differential diagnosis and the study of pathogenetic treatment of patients with benign and borderline epithelial ovarian tumors

The scientific work is devoted to criteria for differential diagnosis of benign and borderline epithelial ovarian tumors (EOT) based on the study of clinical and anamnestic features, data of ultrasonography and Doppler, intraoperative cytology and molecular panel using immunohistochemical markers p53, Ki-67, ER, CD34 and E-cadherin. The scientific substantiation of pathogenetic medicamentous treatment of patients with benign and borderline EOT is presented taking into account the risk of recurrence and malignancy according to the combined data of molecular immunohistochemical profile and histological type of tumor. It is shown that the use of complex drug therapy within 6 months after the organ sparing operations enabled significantly to reduce relapses of benign and borderline EOT from 13.5 % to 3.3 % and from 29.6 % to 10 % respectively.
