The thesis is devoted to physiological and hygienic assessing of functional state and nutritional status of 16-18-year-olds students who enter to medical university, their further development and adaptation durіng of the first year study by the traditional semester-scoring and credit systems. The thesis established peculiarities of adaptation of first-year students, corelation between physical and intellectual development, functional state of the cardiovascular system, mental serviceability applicants and students of different studying systems with their nutritional and chemical status, proved advantages of traditional semester-scoring system of education in the formation of students adaptation. The complex of medical and preventive measures aimed at improving the adaptation of first-year students with morphofunctional disabilities are justified.
