The dissertation is devoted to the complex pharmacological study of Polygonum hydropiper L. and Polygonum persicaria L.A technology for obtaining and standardization of the lyophilized extract of the studied species. Projects have been developed methods for quality control on the herb of P. hydropiper L. «Herba Polygonum hydropiper L.» and lyophilized extract «Herbae Polygoni hydropiperiae L. extractum liophylicum». A pharmacological study of LEG, LEP on the biological activity demonstrated hepatoprotective, antioxidant, hemostatic and gastroprotective activity.
