Dissertation studies ischemic stroke anamnestic risk factors in hypertensive patients. After complex evaluation of clinical manifestation, instrumental and laboratory indices of cardiovascular system function and their interrelations, significance of antihypertensive efficacy of direct renin inhibitor, ARB and iACE along with basis therapy was evaluated in hypertensive patients after ischemic stroke. Comparative study of influence of direct renin inhibitor, ARB and iACE upon morphological and functional indices of heart and extracranial arteries was performed over one year follow-up, as well as indices of central and peripheral hemodynamics. Prognostic significance of RAAS blockers in hypertensive patients after ischemic stroke was evaluated.
