Essay

Methods of forming information technology competences of future lawyers have been proposed in the dissertation. Psychological and pedagogical, scientific and methodical and study materials on the researched problem as well as normative legal documents have been analyzed; pedagogical experience concerning introduction of modern information and communication technologies into learning process of Higher educational establishments of legal type has been generalized. The content of information technology competences of future lawyers has been specified. It has been found out that combination of traditional and personally orientated methods of teaching, implementation of intersubject relationships, use of modern educational means influence the formation of information technology competences of future lawyers. The methods of forming information technology competences of future lawyers include: the purpose and the level of forming information technology competences of future lawyers in the course of study ICT; principles and strategy of formation of information technology competences of future lawyers; ways, forms, methods, means in the study of ICT; implementation of intersubject relationships of the course "Modern information technologies" with professional subjects of legal type. It has been ascertained that the methods of forming information technology competences of future lawyers are based on the methods of teaching information technologies in the course "Modern information technologies". Certain components of methods of teaching modern information technologies of future lawyers: namely contents of educational material, methods, means and forms of teaching have been described.
