The thesis is devoted to the problem of formation of bases of information culture of students in grades 7-9 in the pre-profile training educational area "Technologies". We have studied the structure of bases of students' information culture of students in grades 7-9 in social networking and found teaching essence of the definition of "information culture of students in grades 7-9 in social networking", the criteria, indicators and levels. The theoretical model of formation of information culture of the foundations of students in grades 7-9 in the pre-profile training educational area "Technologies" is developed and experimentally verified.
