Roiko I. Stock market in Ukraine: current performance and development priorities

The thesis is devoted to deepening theoretical foundations and development of practical recommendations for the Ukrainian stock market functioning advancement and improvement priorities. The new approaches to the stock market analisis are grounded. The assessment of the Ukrainian stock market based on the World Federation of Exchanges standarts is improved in the thesis. In the dissertation the evolution of the national stock market was studied, also it's current state was analised. With the help of economic and mathematical simulation the model is constructed, the use of which will help to predict the stock indices dynamics. The prospects for the alternative investment market development, usage of the inverse exchange traded funds as the instrument for hedging are investigated. The Ukrainian stock market development priorities are defined, namely: improving the market's regulatory and legal provisions, shareholders rights protection and its consolidation.
