The thesis describes the study of psychological support for intellectual felling formation at primary school age. Intellectual feelings are developed in the context of cultural factors - children's social environment.A model of intellectual feeling formation and development at primary school children was created as a result of the performed theoretical-methodological study. According to it, the feeling developmental stages are: intellectual feeling formation; differentiation of intellectual feelings; intellectual feeling individualization. The dominant tendency of presentation of the culture in primary schoolchildren's consciousness is cultural meanings. The balance between the categories of meanings fosters a sense of emotional safety, while a lack of emotional safety or emotional insecurity inhibits child's personal growth.Levels of intellectual feeling development are: curiosity, inquisitiveness, sense of purpose, sustained interest in a particular knowledge field, dedication to cognitive activities. Therefore, intellectual feelings are a factor of socialization of primary school children.The performed study confirms experimentally existence of correlations between a stage of intellectual feelings formation and the sense of emotional safety / emotional insecurity; the thesis describes the indicators of behavioral expression of such safety. Also the hypothesis of the dissertation research was confirmed. Indeed, the high level of intellectual feeling development is one of the regulatory factors of healthy development of primary school children and it is characteristic for the children having the emotional safety state with a tendency towards personal growth; successfulness of the leading activity is the indicator of personal growth, while the low level of intellectual feeling development produces a low level of personal growth.The performed formative experiment has leaded us to development and approbation of the program for development of reflection as a factor of appearance of an emotional security sense in the process of psychological support of intellectual feeling formation. Consequently, specially organized educational games aimed at categorization of meanings with help of a reflective discussion contribute intellectual feeling development at primary school children.
