Shchukin S. Surgical treatment of thrombotic complications in severe forms of varicose veins disease

The dissertation is devoted to solving one of the urgent problems of phlebology: improving treatment results concerning thrombotic complications in severe forms of varicose veins diseas of the lower extremities through the application of differentiated tactics and methods of surgical treatment developed due to the coagulation properties of blood and detect trombofilic states. With general clinical, instrumental morphological and immunohistochemical, methods, determine of D-dimer content, tests for thrombophilia clinical, hemodynamic and morphologic features of different variants of disease were studied and long-term results of treatment were analyzed. Medical-diagnostic algorithm in thrombotic complications of severe varicose veins disease was developed. The indications to perform surgery on varicotrombophlebitic combined with deep vein thrombosis were based. Advice on choosing surgical treatment method developed retrombosis prevention in patients were designated. First described method and proved the effectiveness of miniinvasive surgery under local anesthesia in patients with thrombotic complications in severe forms of varicose veins disease. Implementation of the developed tactics possible to achieve good results in 84%, satisfactory - in 13.2% of patients, unsatisfactory - in 2.8% of patients with thrombotic complications in severe forms of varicose veins disease.
