Grazhevska A. Formation and Development of Rent Relations in a Market Economy.

This dissertation is devoted to the comprehensive study of rent relations that arise during reproduction of the rent resources and rental incomes of the natural, economic and institutional origin. The author reveals the characteristic features of modern rent relations; expands classification of rental income; highlights the meaning and the key areas of regulation of rent relations; defines the conceptual foundation of a government's rental policy, aimed at expansion of productive and restriction of counterproductive rent-seeking behaviour of economic agents. The author substantiates strategic priorities and discloses the key areas of improvement of the public rental policy in Ukraine through the clear specification and protection of property rights on rent resources and rental income, institutional and organizational systematization of their scientifically accurate accounting and distribution, formation and rational use of the special purpose funds; elimination of the unnecessary bureaucracy and excessive corruption in the spheres of rent relations.
