Research object: public relations connected with the supply of oil and oil products. Research purpose: development of theoretical principles concerning the legal regulation of the supply of oil and oil products and training on this basis proposals for the improvement of economic legislation. Research methods: dialectical, formal logical, historical, comparative legal, analytic-synthetic, systemic-structural, logical-legal. The theoretical and practical value: deepened and perfected in the science of economic law theoretical development Theoretical and practical significance: deepened and refined in the science of economic law theory development about the nature of economic-legal relations in the sphere of supply of oil and petroleum products. Proposals are accepted for use in law-making activities of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on taxation and customs policy; the activities of LLC "Trading House "Zaporozhoilgroup" and LLC "Azov Oil Company". Scientific novelty: the article considers the peculiarities of using the terms "oil" and "petroleum products", revealed the contradictions and proposals on their elimination. The structure of the contractual relationship for the supply of oil and petroleum products, the legislation of Ukraine, which defines the procedure and conditions for the transportation of oil and oil products state regulation of foreign trade operations in the export of oil and petroleum products. Lighted exercise of trade by oil and oil products and means of state regulation of their pricing. Disclosed means of state regulation of competition in the relations for the supply of oil and oil products with a substantiation of directions of further improvement of Ukrainian legislation in this sphere.
