Svarych N. Evolution of Artistic and Aesthetic Search of Ivan Andrusyak

The thesis has revealed the features of artistic and aesthetic search of Ivan Andrusyak as one of the brightest representatives of the generation of the nineties. The major characteristics of the poet's literary activity are a constant seek for life truths and eternal values, conscious deformation of linguistic norms, and understanding of the ethical and existential problems that become vivid at different stages of his art through the use of various ambivalent and multifunctional images and archetypes. The objective of the research is to make a complex analysis of Ivan Andrusyak's multi-genre works, identify the features of the author's creative manner originality and trace the evolution of aesthetic views and artistic search of the writer. The scientific novelty of the paper is determined by the fact that the subject, the controversial issues, and the stylistic features of Ivan Andrusyak's poetry and prose have been researched in complex. It has been also analyzed genre modifications of the writer's large and small prose. Moreover, the models of the essay writing style have been considered. It is the first time when the author's early poetic works have been researched and the evolution of his artistic and aesthetic views has been traced. The theoretical value of the work is that it has revealed the relevant and little known issues, which are related to the peculiarities of Ivan Andrusyak's art. Undoubtedly, it will facilitate the awareness of the literary process at the end of the 20th and at the beginning of the 21st centuries and the further studies of the writer's creativity.
