Essay

The essence of the "students' cognitive activity activation" concept in the context of research has been determined. The ways and means of students' cognitive activity activation in humanitarian sciences forms at Mathematics lessons have been defined and theoretically grounded. Methods of cognitive activity activation in the process of learning Mathematics by the students studying in humanitarian sciences forms have been developed and experimentally tested. The results of the study can be used in the practice of teaching Mathematics with the students of 10th and 11th years of studying in the forms of humanitarian sciences of Comprehensive schools of the I-st - III-rd degrees.
