Gryshko U. Protection of the rights of transport services consumers.

The thesis deals with the complex scientific research of theoretical and practical problems of the protection of the rights of transport services consumers.Author's definitions of such concepts as "transport services consumer", "transport service as an element of consumer legal relationships", "civil liability of the carrier in the sphere of passenger transportation" are formulated. Also, in the work the delineation of concepts "passenger" and "consumer" is made. The system and features of transport contracts are discovered. The peculiarities of civil liability of the carrier for breach of contract are studied. The specificity of methods, forms and means of protection of transport services consumers is established. On the basis of the research, theoretical conclusions and proposals concerning improvement of the current legislation in the studied area are formulated.
