Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the problem of psychological factors of the students' ability for independent life choice. Theoretical approaches to the problem and the concept of "students' ability for independent life choices" have been defined. Personality formations (cognitive, motivational, emotional and behavioral) of the students' ability for independent life choice have been examined. The criteria for determining (own priorities in life, the level of purposeful activity, the degree of awareness of objective reality change, productivity and life satisfaction) different levels of students' ability for independent life choice (low, medium, high) are highlighted. The psychological factors of students' capacity for independent life choice formation (creativity, reflection, locus of control, dominance of the achievement motivation over the motivation of avoiding failure, the presence of stable axiological orientations, emotional stability, high self-esteem, low rates of anxiety and frustration, high levels of self-regulation, independence, spontaneity, ease of communication, the ability to take risks) have been revealed. The types of ability for independent life choice formation (anxious, unstable, rigid, optimal) are emphasized and described. The model of formation and the system of optimization of students for independent life choice ability has been created and explained with realization and correction of psychological factors. The testing of the model has proved its effectiveness and the need to implement in the system of training among future specialists.
