Dissertation is a complex research devoted to theoretical and legal characteristics of the interaction of the new Ukrainian police with civil society. The author conducts an overview of legal literature discloses the modern scientific understanding of the interaction of civil society and police agencies. Elucidated and characterized and the influence of civil society institutions in shaping law enforcement policy, reveals axiological foundations of law enforcement in the development of civil society. Installed and comparison of features of interaction between civil society and police in a totalitarian and a democratic regime.
