Essay

The complex system research of phraseological language component of P.Kulish compositions was developed for the first time on the wide phraseological material in this dissertation work. The connection of writer's idiostyle with different sources of phrasemic formation of Ukrainian literary language were found out here, and also the reception of Kulish's phraseological heritage in modern lexicographical and phraseographical codes. The influence of idioms by P. Kulish's on formation of phraseological fund of Ukrainian literary language was determined; the phraseological composition of language by P.Kulish was shown as one of the relevant features of individual language picture of writer's world. The thematic differentiation of PU was followed in this work, the noncodified PU of Kulish's idiostyle were given. The system connections which deal with idioms from researched texts (synonyms, antonyms, etc.) were characterized in writer's language. The historical prospect development of analyzed PU in modern Ukrainian literary language (as example of lexicographical, apart phraseographical codes) was followed. The dissertation work has sound and spring base: writer's epistolary, poetic and prose compositions, scientific works from history, fiction. The meticulous work with materials of modern phraseological dictionaries and chronicles (Samovydets's Chronicle, Hrygoriy Hrab'yanka's Chronicle, Halicia-Volyn chronicle), historical dictionaries, collections of paremias, manuscript sources was developed. It enabled the objective approach to analysis of researching material, created the base for the view on functioning process of phraseological units in time-space coordinates, and also in different functioning-stylistic conditions.
